This is a book cover redesign that was made in my 490 practicum class with the objective of making a new project with an old work, drawing, or painting. I chose to redesign the book cover for the book, The Bone Houses, by Emily Lloyd-Jones. The structure and skull illustration used for the cover was a drawing I made in drawing two. This illustration was perfect for the book title and also got picked as a finalist for book covers in the National Student Show & Conference in Dallas, Texas, 2024.
